Registration underway for East Texas Energy Symposium in August
The East Texas Oil Museum at Kilgore College will host the eleventh annual East Texas Energy Symposium (National Oil & Gas Appreciation Day) on Thursday, Aug. 27, featuring three speakers.
Speakers will include Sendhendu Kashikar, Chief Executive Officer of Reveal Energy Services; Tim Greene, Business Development Manager for Deep Imaging Technologies; and Dr. Mahdi Haddad, Postdoctoral Fellow for the Bureau of Economic Geology.
The symposium is set for 9:30 a.m. to Noon in Dodson Auditorium on the Kilgore campus. Museum tours will be provided at the conclusion of the event.
Due to COVID-19, the event is FREE this year, but donations are encouraged for any amount deemed appropriate.
Also, a ticket for the symposium is required.
All donations will fund current and future programming at the East Texas Oil Museum. Your donation will help the ETOM to continue its mission of “Telling the story…Preserving the history.”
With this year's fundraising goal at $5,000, we hope you will help us achieve this goal!
Local media is invited to attend the morning presentations.
The ETOM is located at 1301 S. Henderson Blvd. (corner of Hwy. 259 and Ross Ave.) in Kilgore.
